Frequently asked

Questions before the next move

What SkillShiftAI does, how tokens work, and where the boundaries sit — answered plainly.

Getting started

What is SkillShiftAI?
It is a text-based career-transition companion for résumé improvement, interview practice, transferable-skill mapping, upskilling plans, and practical new-role challenges.
How does the career chat work?
Share the target, context, real experience, and sticking point. SkillShiftAI asks focused questions, works from evidence, suggests revisions or practice, and helps define a next move.
What can SkillShiftAI help me do?
Clarify target roles, identify transferable skills, revise truthful résumé content, practise interviews, prepare networking or workplace conversations, plan skill development, and organize first-month priorities.
What makes this different from generic career tips?
The work begins with your target and real evidence. Feedback points to a specific revision, practice move, gap, or question rather than promising a universal formula.
Who benefits most?
People changing roles or industries, returning to work, preparing for selection processes, or finding their footing in a new position — especially when their experience does not map neatly to the new language.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. You can start with an unfinished résumé, a rough answer, or simply the role you are considering. The chat explains career terminology and helps surface experience without pretending you already know how to frame it.

Tokens and balance

How do tokens work?
Chat messages use tokens. Your account shows the available balance. Choose a token pack or the live pay-as-you-go option when you want more.
What happens if my balance is insufficient?
The message will not send, and you will see a route to add tokens. Your live account and store show the available options.

Privacy and support

How is my information handled?
Share only what is needed. Redact names, contact details, employer-confidential information, IDs, addresses, reference details, and unpublished business material. The Privacy policy explains actual data practices.
How do I get support?
Use the Contact page for account, purchase, or service issues.

Not the answer you needed?

Bring the actual question to the chat — the target role, the document, or the conversation you are preparing for. If it is an account or purchase issue, support is the faster route.
